Take It Higher! That's our theme this year for our students, faculty and staff. Being smaller in numbers allows us to improve ur FCAT scores. That will positively impact our school grade which we know will be higher this year. In addition, we hope to increase our graduation rate to 100% and to have higher scores by our students taking the ACT and SAT tests. Of course, we always look for help from our parents to keep our students focused and on task at home with regard to their school work and to keep tardiness and absenteeism to a minimum.
We have set four goals this year in conjunction with the Superintended goals. These goals are:
- Brain-based instruction for meta cognition
- Professional and ethical behavior
- Integration of vocational and content area curriculum
- Community awareness and involvement
Our teachers and staff are working diligently each day toward reaching our goals. We look forward to seeing many of you on our campus and at school activities by helping is reach these goals. So far, we are off to a great start.
